The Backgammon Chronicles

The Backgammon Chronicles provides a ground-zero account of the life of a professional backgammon player--one of the world's best--as he competes on tour in Europe over a decade (2008-18) of sharp change and evolution in the backgammon scene. The book's two volumes are luxurious: 8.5x11, in full color, with hundreds of photos and diagrams. The action, mostly set in European resort towns, is framed by the narrative both historically and culturally, sharing with the reader a wealth of lore and gambling stories, as well as the many backgammon puzzles that confronted the author in competition.
